Pinprick goosebumps spread across her skin and scorching tears filled her eyes rapidly. Her tongue malfunctioned. Time ran backwards and upside down. Down was up, up was down, backwards was front ways, front ways was sideways. The moon and sun switched places, and then Clarke became either very small or very large as compared to the universe.
Standing before her with pale skin and a dull sort of rage in her eyes, was the one person Clarke had been certain she would never, ever see again.

A re-imagining from the Pilot:
Clarke Griffin is rudely taken from her cell in the middle of the night only to be forced into a room with the man she hates the most - the man who floated her father - Thelonius Jaha.
He then informs her that she will be sent to Earth almost immediately to determine whether or not the ground is survivable again in the hopes of saving their people from certain doom.
Alone.
On top of it all, the fate of 98 other adolescent prisoners rests on her succeeding in this mission.
In other words: she's screwed.Before she knows it, she's hurtling towards the planet at top speed with no control over the contraption that's presumably carrying her to her death.
After she somehow manages to survive the crash landing, she finds herself alone in unknown lands struggling to fight through the pain of her extensive injuries.
Only, she's not alone. Far from it, in fact.
Who are these strange inhabitants whose language is so different from her own?
