Summary
When Caitlyn Kiramman is sent to the sleepy little town of Zaun to interview some of the locals for the paper she works for, she is pissed.
Zaun is bursting at the seams with festive cheer, and Christmas-hating Caitlyn would rather be anywhere else on earth. That is, until she meets Vi, the daughter of one of the locals she’s there to interview. The covered head turned towards her, the intruder slowly lifting their hands in surrender. The movement shifted their cloak, revealing a satchel beneath, the top edge of a crystal piece glittering in the pale light.

”Who are you?” She demanded.
The thief paused, fingers twitching in the air before moving to the hood of the cloak. The hood dropped back to reveal brightly colored hair, at the same time that a voice Caitlyn had not heard in nearly a decade spoke.

Somewhere in the next song, the alcohol rose within her and propelled her waist against Vi's, rolling, grinding, surging. The hands on her hips tightened slightly and Vi was saying something before catching her lower lip in her own teeth.
"What was that?" Caitlyn called over the roar of the club music.
"I said I want to—"
The song suddenly hit its drop, filling the dance floor with electrifying, dizzying beats. It drowned out the last of Vi's words, but Caitlyn watched as her lips formed around them.
