Ice and fire.
On the surface, Rickon could've perhaps been called boring if she was being ungenerous. But where she was fire, he was ice; it was clear beneath those cold eyes laid a very sharp edge. It shouldn't have been intriguing, but it was.

Summary
“You took my son’s future, his warmth his dreams, now he shall take yours”
Lady Stoneheart receives a terrible vision of how she can resurrect Robb, leading to a Long Night that few would expect.
Largely follows canon until she acts on her plans, so this picks up right after Jamie’s last chapter in a Dance with Dragons.
Very much running the long night as horror (and most definitely will touch far more than just the North). Different chapters will show different points of view as things get worse and worse as a desperate final coalition tries to bring about the dawn. There won’t be a huge amount of politics or the Game of Thrones, as it is rather too late for that.
Come for the Lovecraftian undertones stay for the spiders as big as warhorses, and disproportionate revenge.
I'll update with more character tags as we go, so for now just shows major focuses of different chapters
I don’t expect this to be massively long fic (currently mapped out to be about six parts)
