  Summary

  A sinister cult has slithered from the shadows, threatening both the Wizarding and Muggle worlds. Tasked with unmasking its secrets and stopping its rise, Aurors Florence Evans and Ominis Gaunt find themselves ensnared in dark magic, deception, and danger. Unbeknownst to them, Sebastian Sallow, an agent for the Ministry’s legendary clandestine assassins’ guild of the Red Quills, is hunting the same quarry from the shadows. Bound by an Unbreakable Vow preserving the guild’s secrecy, he must unravel the cult’s mysteries, all while evading discovery of his identity from Florence and Ominis. Forbidden obsession for Florence complicates Sebastian’s mission, blurring the lines of hunter and hunted. As the cult’s enigmatic leader edges ever closer to seizing control, all three are drawn into a race against time, every misstep threatening both the Wizarding and Muggle worlds into ruin.

  Florence, Ominis, and Sebastian are all established adults, their Hogwarts years and Auror training behind them. Exact ages are intentionally left open, allowing readers to imagine them as they see fit. Expect a slow-burning romance woven through a plot-driven tale of loyalty, betrayal, and the cost of secrets.
