Summary
The strawhats are reunited after two years, uncomfortably aware of the events of Marineford, too scared to speak of it, and wondering where to go from here. Grief brings out a new side of Luffy that they’re unfamiliar with, but they’ve never been a crew that backs down from a challenge. And they swear to never let him cry alone again.
Basically, the strawhats give Luffy everything he asks for.

Summary
Lucifer is very aware that certain aspects of personal grooming tend to go out the window for him on bad days (or weeks—or months). He does his best to keep up with it—he really does! It's just that the more visible things like his hair and clothes get priority, and by the times he realizes what a disaster his living space has become, or even worse, his wings...
Things were easier when he was living alone and there was nobody else around to notice things like the powder down that he scatters all over the place when he hasn't preened himself properly in too long. At least, they were until someone reaches out a helping hand.

Summary
The man was filthy. The beds of his nails were blackened with dirt. His pale hair was greasy and limp, his lips were dry and cracked, and his face was incredibly gaunt. He wore threadbare boxers and a tank top that hung loosely from his pallid and skeletal chest, and his feet were bare, the soles brown from walking on the street. He sat with Wyll's scratchy blanket clutched around his shoulders with one hand, and with the other he pressed the blade of a paring knife to Wyll's throat.
And so Wyll kept his eyes trained dutifully on the road.
Wyll goes for a late night drive to clear his head. Astarion needs to get as far away as possible — fast.

Summary
It starts with the cracked pavement, littered with oil stains from the litany of beat-up cars that had parked there. Up on the gas station awning, there's a buzzing LED sign that’s gone half dark. When he inhales, sharp , the air is dry, dusty with the song of a coming monsoon.
Beyond the clear swinging glass doors, florescence lighting beckons him into the store. Inside, where the smell of cold coffee and clean tile is overwhelming, where soda slush spills out into the floor, where cigarettes lay locked behind a rounding counter in the center of the store.
Behind the counter, as always, is the cashier, with bright eyes and a dingy uniform and dark hair shorn short on the side. And always, she smiles when she sees him.
"Hey, soldier," she says. "Long day?"

Wyll watched Astarion a moment longer, how his back hunched and hands clenched. By all accounts, something was wrong. He hadn’t even looted the corpses. He loved looting corpses! But if he didn’t admit to a problem, there wasn’t a lot Wyll could do. He had to respect his privacy.
That didn’t mean Wyll couldn’t keep a little eye on him, though. Just for peace of mind.

In retrospect it was a very stupid idea to try a little taste of the dead woman, the one who'd perished by the overturned caravan. For one, the single swallow Astarion had managed hadn't even tasted good. Her blood had spoiled after the long hours spent baking in the hot sun.
And of course he'd been caught. Like the fool he is, fangs out and dripping with the putrid blood in plain sight of the handsome Blade of Frontiers.

Then, he leaves Avernus with a mindflayer’s tadpole writhing through his brain. Then, he learns that the fiend he’d sworn to kill is an innocent tiefling. Then, his own personal devil tears the flesh from his bones and warps his body permanently, beyond his recognition.
Then, he wakes up in the calm of an otherwise quiet night to a vampire spawn’s teeth in his neck.
