He began to walk slow strides; despite what he’d said about Zushi waiting for him, which was indeed true, he had no need to rush back to his quarters. It would be correct to say that he had plans for training with the boy, but not the same kind of training he'd been having Killua and Gon do.
There were many more ways to train one’s body than through the four principles of Nen, after all.

He’s hunting.
Mike emerges from the shadows, dark-eyed and with an eerily blank expression. His chest is heaving while his fingers curve erratically at his sides. Sweat beads along his temple and drips to his jawline.
He looks like a wreck. He looks nothing like the charming teenage boy Will met less than a half-hour ago.
Mike looks like a monster.
It is in this moment that Will realizes he’s made a terrible mistake.
Mike’s going into a rut, and Will meets the wrong boy, in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
