Summary
This takes place about a year and a half prior to The Hunt.
The treaty with Taki is still new. But it has already been called upon when they ask for assistance from Mei Terumi and Kiri. Iwa has amassed practically an army at the border to Taki demanding surrender and sworn fealty to the Tsuchikage. As the Mizukage, Mei cannot afford to send too many of her shinobi out of the village to a potential warzone between Iwa and Taki, so instead she sends her best. They will soon remember why you should fear the Legendary Swordsmen of the Mist.

Summary
Skirmishes on the Konoha/Iwa border are becoming commonplace but the Hokage, Tsunade Senju, ensures it isn't Konoha overstepping. The Mizukage, Mei Terumi, has to be sure. If they go to war then Kiri will have to answer the call of their ally, Konoha. But Sakura and Cho find some things that don't sit right with them on their mission.

Summary
Chakra was extraordinary at making the impossible possible. At least that is how those who were not trained in the arts viewed the work of shinobi. Chakra was incredible and fearsome. It allowed people to become stronger, manipulate the elements, and even heal people. There was only one thing it was never capable of doing. It was a common consensus throughout the elemental nations that nothing and no one could bring back the dead.
Sakura takes memorizing a few hand signs to another level and then improves upon it.
