Summary
“You’re bleeding, Hyeonjoon-ah,” muttered Lee Sanghyeok as he knelt beside the boy’s feet. The shore’s pebbles had bitten tiny wounds into his bare soles.
Choi Hyeonjoon lowered his eyelids as Lee Sanghyeok gently used his own sleeves to wipe away the blood. Even when the blood had been cleaned, Lee Sanghyeok continued running the fabric over and over his feet, tenderly, like a caress. Hyeonjoon shivered.
“This world will soon be no more.” Lee Sanghyeok said, still tracing patterns on Hyeonjoon’s feet.
Somehow, Hyeonjoon understood what he was asking. “The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away.”

Summary
He wiped his tears with his sleeves and just as he was about to open his mouth to speak, Hwanjoong loudly shouted. "Wait, that's why you were running out of your room like a ghost was hot on your heels when we got home! I thought you guys just had a couple's argument or something and didn't wanna get involved… See, I told you I never liked Jihoonie-hyung much."
Hyunjoon froze as he remembered that day. The single yellow carnation petal lay on the bottom of his bedside drawer in Changwon. He had to search up what it was, what it meant, and if he was going to die via throwing up a flower.
Choi Hyunjoon and Jeong Jihoon's relationship over the years, and the consequences of it all.
