Sherlock begins stirring, but John places a hand in the middle of his back.
“Be still. Just--” John’s mouth waters a little at the sight of the whitish fluid and he clears his throat, “Hold on.”
Sherlock looks over his shoulder and meets John’s eyes in momentary bafflement before something like recognition rolls across his features. The familiar blend of smugness and deduction, and he snuffles down against a pillow.

Summary
Kink-meme deanon - where Sherlock can't keep himself from having a little taste in the middle of things. Just a little lesson in authorial bravery.
Sherlock has definitely decided more tasting is in order, his brain is on fire with it, the need to map every inch of John’s body prickling over his scalp. He pulls out gently and tips John up by the simple expedient of hooking his hands under John’s knees.

John finds it three months after he's moved back.
He's on the hunt for something to make for dinner, is scrounging through the cupboards, when he happens upon the graveyard of pasta boxes Sherlock still seems to create when left to his own devices. Behind seven boxes of pasta, all almost completely empty, is a dark-glassed bottle, with a paler coat of dust.
It's unopened.
John's face falls slack when he sees it, instantly recognises it, and for a long moment he just stands and looks at it.
