She's so tired and just wants to drop down, to scramble under the sheets and sleep until her strength has returned - though, with the wish they'd just finished completing taking them through Sinner's Road, both of them could probably use a bath before laying down.
Not that she has any energy left for that, and with her already sat on the bed, she doesn't find herself motivated to get up and climb to the tub either way.

"It was a common belief among the miners of my kingdom that magnetite had a will of its own," Lace said, eyeing Hornet as she prepared her next roll. "Some even claimed that it had a penchant for favouritism."
Hornet tossed the dice. They scattered on the ground before converging, spinning in the air by the force of its own magnetic pull. "Favouritism had no hand in my success. Skill is ultimately what trumps luck in games such as these."
Lace had long stopped watching her score. If it weren't for her new goal of sniffing out Hornet's exact method of treachery, she might've laid down in defeat several rounds back. "Using skill to manipulate a game of fate? How very like you."
Hornet and Lace embark on a pilgrimage.

Summary
All those thoughts are immediately silenced when she sees several Wraiths rush towards her. She freezes, remaining rooted even though her mind is screaming at her to run, fight and flight instincts clashing.
The Wraiths swarm her, and Hornet realizes that it is too late for her to draw her needle to defend herself. Instinctively, she squeezes her eyes shut, expecting a hit.
Instead of trying to kill her, though, she instead finds silken arms wrapping around her waist, and her feet leaving the ground.
OR
Hornet goes to visit Phantom during Act 3. She runs into a bit of a problem.

Summary
Phantom has always had a particular interest in her tools, finding them fascinating; how Hornet manages to craft some of these from crude shards and not much more than her own claws is beyond them, but their quality is incredible for how simple the materials are.
Some, of course, are more complex, requiring proper maintenance, like the Cogflies or the Silkshot. But still.

While bored in the Bellhome, Phantom finds a particularly interesting tool.

If there is one thing Fumikage believe in with all his heart is that nothings is inherently good or bad.
There is no such thing has a good person and a bad person, it's all depends on their actions, the way they act, and even then, there is much more nuances to it.
Darkness isn't inheritly bad, light isn't inherently good. Same thing applies to all that exist, everything has some much more nuances.
This way of thinking lead him to not judge and instead listen, which since moving in the dorm has slowly been transforming him into an unofficial therapist.
