Jungha reached out her arm, nearly tumbling forward as she snatched Soojin’s arm, nearly losing it in the way her palms were so sweaty. Slowly, Soojin looked over her shoulder and met Jungha’s eyes - and Jungha could imagine that the extra sparkle in her eyes (that probably came from all the moving lights above) was actually a tear forming, a sign of vulnerability confirmed.
“Eunni,” Jungha said, then realized there was no way Soojin could have heard her, so she pulled Soojin closer and leaned in, faces inches from each other. “Eunni!”
“What?” Soojin said, looking between both of Jungha’s eyes.
“I can make you forget your crush,” Jungha yelled, feeling her limbs start to tremble even as she somehow managed to make the words escape her properly. Instead of letting the offer bounce in her head along with all the other chaos, it was now out into an even more chaotic world, and she felt sure Soojin had heard her. “I can do it.”
