Summary
Maddie’s not there.
Thank God or the universe or whatever occasionally looks Buck’s way and decides to lend his loved ones a hand.
Eddie is there, after he'd swapped shifts with Linda so she could go to her cousin’s graduation party. The one day he works when he's not supposed to, an electrical fire caused by some kind of overload takes out all of Dispatch.
Buck and Lucy are on the second floor when Captain Mehta's voice filters through the radio, urging them to evacuate. Lucy takes the third floor, despite the order.

The question had been asked lightly, a bit drowsy as if Carlos was still too far gone to filter his words. It was asked that way, yes – but the words felt heavy in the space between them. Summary
What if instead of Henry asking Alex to wait, and showing him the V&A, he had told him to leave? He is not ready to let go of the last piece of armor, protecting his heart, so he tells a wet, distressed Alex, to go. And he does.
But Alex is in love with Henry, he has no plans to let go, any time soon. So he sends his prince, an email. Letting him know his heart is locked in a safe box, and the only person that can unlock it, is Henry. No matter how long he takes, to get himself there.
This is the story of how Alex coped with the years without the love of his life, and how they found each other again.
