Leon stared into those disturbingly familiar eyes again–growing ever closer, attached to a furry body that had to be at least seven feet tall when walking on two feet–and came to a realization that left him feeling equal parts shocked and indignant. “Chris?” he hissed out, lowering the gun when the creature ducked its head and whined quietly. “Are you fucking kidding me right now?”
Another whine, and there were paws–no, they were more like hands, albeit the size of tennis rackets–on Leon’s shoulders, hot like brands through his clothes and body armor. Before Leon could react to that, there was something wet and slightly rough dragging over his cheek.
He was being licked.
Chris was licking him.

There was a long moment of silence… and then came Leon’s voice, ragged and backed by static: “Chris?”
“I’m here with Jill.” Chris switched from his assault rifle to his pistol, picking off plagas as they emerged on either side of them, trusting Jill to cut down the ones in the middle as she led them toward the security room. “Are you hurt?”
A huffed noise that was half-sob. “You could say that, yeah.”
“How bad?” Anxiety was a living thing inside Chris’s chest, trying to claw its way up his throat. He glanced at the directory again and realized they were close–the security room was down the current corridor and around the corner. “Leon, we’re almost there–how bad?”
Another seemingly endless silence, then, quietly, “This… was a mistake. I shouldn’t have called you.” The unmistakable sound of a slide racking came over the radio and Chris’s blood turned to ice. “Don’t worry. I’ll do it myself.”

Leon sat back again, certain he’d won.
“Didn’t know that was something you wanted.” It took Leon’s alcohol-soaked brain a second to realize Chris had spoken again, and his voice had dropped about an octave lower. His expression was carefully blank, but his eyes–those fucking huge brown cow eyes of his were burning with lust. “From me, at least.”

Coughing and gasping for air, Leon put tremendous effort into not blacking out–both from the shit he’d sucked into his lungs and bouncing his head off the dirt when the shockwave from the blast toppled him. When he felt a pair of hands grasp him by his holster straps and pull him away from the crater the greenhouse had left behind, he pawed weakly for the knife strapped to his thigh, but then he heard a familiar voice–albeit distorted by a respirator mask:
“Hey, Leon–it’s okay. We’re here to help.”
Chris Redfield.
Golden boy of the BSAA, knight in shining armor, and Leon’s hopeless crush, which had been going on for so long now that it was old enough to get a driver’s license.

"Chris?" To say Leon was surprised to see Chris Redfield standing in the shitty hallway outside Leon's equally shitty Raccoon City apartment was an understatement. He was dressed down too, in a faded Air Force t-shirt and jeans, his leather jacket thrown over top. "What are you doing here?"
"I thought we could celebrate your promotion," Chris replied, wiggling the six-pack of beer in his hand enticingly. He was smiling, and not for the first time Leon thought he was the most attractive man he'd ever seen, completely effortlessly. "Maybe order a pizza and watch a bad movie?"

“Could you take those files up to Chief Irons?” Chris nodded toward the folders in question, already backing toward the door; intent on going to wash off in the locker room, no doubt. “They’re victim profiles for the Mannequin Killer case–” a series of grotesque murders where the bodies of five young people had been found scattered around the area, taxidermied until they were doll-like “–and he said he wanted to review them again.”
Leon nodded as Chris left, but glanced toward Wesker when he huffed behind his desk, shaking his head a little. “I am not sure why Irons is so fixated on that investigation,” their captain said, waving a hand. “But by all means, Kennedy–go.” The barest hint of a chuckle. “Just don’t linger too long in the chief’s pleasant company.”

As if summoned by the thought of combat, the distinct sounds of a fight reached Leon’s ears from somewhere off to the northeast. Cursing under his breath, Leon tightened his grip on his combat knife and stalked in that direction. The spider-people were fast up close but couldn’t cross distances, so maybe if he could distract it, whatever civilian was getting attacked would have the chance to flee.
The last guy he expected to find pinned to the dirt by a hissing, spitting spider-person was Piers Nivans.

A quick glance to his left told Leon that Chris was out like a light, snoring with his face smushed into his pillow and one leg hanging off the mattress. Rubbing his face, Leon rolled out of bed silently and padded past the attached bathroom. He took a quick peek at Rose, sleeping soundly in her nursery, before the grandfather clock in the hallway informed him it was just past five in the morning–lovely.
Leon was still half-asleep when he located Scott, so he only felt a mild sort of surprise when he realized he was lying facedown on the tile floor in the kitchen. It seemed pointless to ask whether he was okay–clearly the answer was no–so Leon dropped into a crouch next to him and carded his fingers through soft blond hair as he inquired, “Hey, baby. What's wrong?”
A long silence, then: “I got my period.”

Anxiety grips him and his mind screams at him to leave immediately. Only, his feet are rooted to the floor and they refuse to move, because he feels like he’s seen the man in the photos before. He’s never seen the pretty woman, he knows she’s a stranger, but something in his hazy brain nags at him, whispers, ‘He kind of looks like you.’
He doesn’t have time to pick apart the impossibilities or implications of that thought, because he can hear movement, like someone's coming toward him. So, he readies his pistol, braces for a fight, and keeps his eyes trained on the doorway. Footsteps approach slowly, followed by a soft feminine voice that calls out, “Is that you, Leon? I thought I was coming to pick you up from the airport?”
Leon? That's his name. There’s a lady in his apartment that just said his name.
Or, Leon wakes up in a bar in Washington D.C. four days after the events of Resident Evil 4. He goes home only to find that things are different. There’s a woman in his apartment that claims it’s actually 2026 and not 2004, she also claims to be married to him— or to the older, alternate reality version of him who's supposed to be on his way home. Set after RE4 and RE9.

She can't move on from the incident, gnawing tendrils still slithering through the void of her chest, so she tries her best to forget instead. Too much Kahlua in her morning coffee, more sleeping pills than she should probably take at night, and him.
Leon uses sex as a coping mechanism, just like she does. She's not sure if the stamina comes from training or if he's just like that, but he can fuck for hours. It's the best way she's found thus far to waste the days away. He'll make her forget it all.
