Summary
The sound of shattering glass ripped through the air. Kojiro grabbed a fistful of rose gold and yanked their head back, slamming his forehead into their lower lip. He ejected the knife from his gauntlet and shoved them down on the ground with all his might.
He hovered on top of the vampire. He had night vision, so he could see into that mesmerizing gold. It was deadly.
“Make another fuckin’ move and this blade is goin’ through that pretty little chest of yours,” Kojiro warned vexingly.
The vampire tilted their head high. Inviting. Mocking. Kojiro tightened his grip around their throat, taking pleasure in the way they gasped for air.
“You’re no regular hunter, are you?” They rasped.
Kojiro usually gets the job done when he's paid good money to do it. He's got two kids to get home to. But one mission keeps him away from home for a extended trip; a notorious bloodthirsty vampire with nothing to lose.
Or so it seemed, as they are in search of their lost younger brother, eradicating anything in their way to find him. The mercenary and the vampire clash, and this suicide mission unfolds in a way neither of them will expect.
