Itachi gazes at Sasuke with gentle fondness as his brother opens the door, stares at him, then abruptly slams it shut, the edge catching Itachi squarely on the nose. Before he can even react, the door swings open again, only to snap closed a second later. This time, it stays shut. A beat passes before muffled laughter drifts through the wood, soft at first, then spiraling into something wild and unhinged. Itachi blinks, concern flickering in his dark eyes.
