No, you can’t be my plus one, because I lied about my cousin, and there is no wedding, and it seems a little weird to bring a date to a fucking funeral– “Apparently parents love it when you bring home a doctor.”

Summary
In 1983, months before Will Byer's disappearance, Steve Harrington goes missing.
It's not big news and the police say they know where he's gone, but they won't share anything else. It's something Steve is grateful for. After all, if anyone found out he was in a group home for troubled and unwanted kids, rooming with one Eddie 'The Freak' Munson, he'd never be able to go back.
