Angel doesn't work for Val anymore, doesn't have to answer to empty apologies after Val bleeds him dry in every way. Husk loves him right, but the wounds are still slow to heal.

Husk closes his eyes, and his face crumples with pain. He doesn’t cry. Not much of a cryer, his man. Not like Angel. But he knows it hurts all the same.
“Miss her even when she’s still here,” he whispers. “Sometimes it feels like she ain’t mine anymore. Like ever since the divorce, I’m not really her daddy.”

Summary
When Alastor’s unwanted attraction to Angel doesn’t seem to be going away any time soon, Angel suggests “scratching the itch” just once.
Reluctantly, Alastor agrees, determined to claw this pesky appetite out of his chest once and for all.
So what starts out as a hunt for one of Angel’s old enemies becomes a sensual game of cat and mouse, one that blurs the lines between predator and prey.

Alastor had been at the Hazbin Hotel for barely three months, and he was already bored. Violently so. Nights were the worst, of course, with all other denizens of the hotel shuffled off to bed. Normally he would read, or listen to his records, or plan his next broadcast, or go for a wander in the bayou. But with things as they were, he found he was quite exhausting his interest for such diversions during the day. So he wandered in the shadows, half-corporeal and only half-cognizant, flitting from room to room like a hummingbird starving to death among shrivelled flowers.
That was how he came to see Angel Dust kicking the front door open at 2:32 in the morning.

Anthony finds himself bound the very powerful and moreso mysterious Radio Demon, Alastor who is hiding his true intentions.
Anthony now must adjust to life with his new demon roommate and the ever-growing intensity of his relationship with Valentino who prays on every insecurity and Anthony has to ask himself who the real monster is, realizing that Alastor is the only being who has ever made him feel truly safe.

His lover's poof of hair, not yet styled, bends easily to his ministrations as he parts strands with his fingers, careful of claws brushing against the scalp. He repeats the motion as Angel speaks, 'Your morning voice is sexy.'
Husk chuckles, making Angel shake slightly with the movement of his belly. 'That’s a world record, even for you. It took you less than ten seconds of being awake to flirt.'"
After spending a passionate morning together, Angel Dust and Husk, married for a year, are forced to separate for the day. Neither of them know that Valentino lurks just around the corner, waiting for his star to be alone.

“Angel, baby.” Husk says gently, his wings fluttering anxiously. Angel cracks open an eye, and Husk takes the opportunity to cradle his face, really looking at him - at his eyes, at his expression.
He looks so tired. So many feelings - love and blind, raging anger and regret for not having more power - all well up inside him, but he pushes them down. Cant lose focus.

After the events of ep. 6, Valentino stays true to his promise, and makes Angel pay for his disrespect the next day at the studio. Thankfully, Husk is there. He’s pissed, and in love.
