Danny is not being abused. That much he's absolutely certain of. He's loud. He annoys people. He talks too much and about things no one cares about. So he gets it. He really does. He tries to do better but he never quite pleases her. So he keeps trying. He keeps his mouth closed and takes her- her corrections.
So what if he tenses when she walks into the room? So what if he's always acutely aware of her at all times? So what if he can't stand for people to get to close?
It's fine- He's fine. He can handle it, plus, she keeps it away from Gracie. His sweet girl doesn't need to know how often he screws up. How often he need correcting. She doesn't know.
Until its obvious she does.

Danny didn't run to Hawaii chasing his daughter, no he ran from his ex wife. Well... ran is a strong word.More like won sole custody, got her arrested, and hightailed it.
She kept trying regardless. Ignoring the no contact order, the custody agreement.Just a story of a bad situation leading to a better one.
