Sometimes being a plant means doing nuclear fission through reverse photosynthesis.

Sometimes its about drinking vanilla extract and wanting to claw out of your skin.Vash doesn't have the words exactly for what starts happening to him after Knives played a frequency into his Gun at Jenora's rock. He can feel the math of it, the shape of it, but the words escape him for the next 300k. This Fic is about psychically conjoined twins, nuclear fusion, falling in love with the sun, becoming a salmon and discovering what Ao3 can do with ascii art. It's a Stampede canon divergent fic that crashes off the rails at episode 4 with plant head canons I came up with while watching 98 years ago...and some how I caught a lot of dodge balls. Its also a time loop story that incorporates elements of Trimax and 98, but that's a spoiler for part 2.

Michael liked Too-Close-I-Cannot-Breathe. Well, if it could like anything. The thing through the Casket was a collapsed labyrinth, wreck and rubble of a ruined maze. Or perhaps one that hadn’t been carved yet. Either way. Someone could get lost down there.
Michael ducked behind and around the Casket, through space that did and did not contain a passage down. One long finger scratched along the wood, scarring it with fractals that drifted across other, older scars.
Something under the wood scratched back.

i wrote a few star viewpoint fics for x factor but i wanted to try getting into star's head in the 90s and it just kind of got out of control. this covers from star's first appearance up til ric going home for the first time and a bunch of missing scenes between those two events. featuring lots of pining and learning to be a person.
title is from the song 'raised by wolves' by voxtrot. can be read as a prequel to 'all this could be yours' if you want it to be, it does work as a standalone.
