Summary
The year is 2001 and Jodie, the original actress for Janice from the once popular series, Candle Cove, now a wife and loving mother, was able to put her past behind and live a seemingly normal life thirty years after the incidents of the show…until recently. Old memories began to resurface, fueling her ptsd and distorting her hold on reality. To add more fuel to the fire, her and her husband Dave are on the verge of divorce and even her children slowly started to distance themselves from her.
One day, Jodie was visited by a mysterious woman claiming to be an old friend of Emerson Grimes, and wanted to recruit her for a reboot of the show but as Jodie declines, the lady reveals herself to be a servant of the Skin-Taker himself, who drags Jodie’s children, Daniel and Ruby, to Candle Cove in a fit of furry. Now Jodie must face her fears head on, journey to Candle Cove, and seek help from old familiar faces. Will she save her children and escape back to the real world or will they all fall victim to the Skin-Taker and be trapped in the cove for all eternity?
