Summary
Simon “Ghost” Riley. Lieutenant of the 141 Task Force, second to Captain John Price, and the best soldier that the Captain had ever seen. There was a secret the two shared, though: Ghost was a hellhound hybrid.
They’d been sent out on a mission in the middle of nowhere in some freezing mountains that Soap couldn’t bother to remember. The mission itself had gone about as well as one would expect: completed, and only one injury was accounted for to the two of them. Ghost and Soap had found their way to a safe house, a rickety cabin that held the bare necessities to keep them alive. Now, Ghost hadn’t outright said he was injured, being the stubborn man that he was, but Soap knew his Lieutenant well now after all these years working together. He could read the older man like an open book, even though that book had desperately tried not to be read.
