“it’s… max,” max said carefully.
the barista tilted his head. “that’s what i wrote.”
“no, it’s not.”
“then you must’ve pronounced it wrong.”
max blinked. he didn’t know if he wanted to argue or leave. “it’s literally three letters.”
“well, it’s four now,” the barista said, grinning like it was a personal victory, and max felt that familiar urge to wipe that infuriatingly perfect smile off his face.
OR: four times george "misspells" max's name in his coffee order (and that one time he finally gets it right), and the latter cannot for the life of him decide whether to strangle him or fall in love altogether.

Summary
When a hotel mix-up during the Las Vegas Grand Prix leaves Max and Oscar assigned to the same room — and only one bed as it's said later — neither of them thinks much of it. Three nights. Two drivers. One logistical mistake. Easy, right?
But between the neon chaos of Vegas, sleepless nights, and a crush Oscar’s been trying to ignore since his rookie season, “easy” quickly turns complicated. What begins as quiet awkwardness starts to blur into something far more dangerous — and far more difficult to hide once the paddock starts to notice.
OR: Oscar has a crush, he needs to sleep with Max in Vegas and OH!! There was only one huge bed in the room. What could go wrong, right??Bookmarked by YuumaTian
