Summary
Por is a young beta who finds himself chosen to participate the in 88th annual Hunger Games. With his advanced knowledge of medicine as his weapon, he will stop at nothing to emerge victorious (mostly hiding and hoping everyone kills each other) but still good enough.
Teetee is a young alpha, who volunteers to enter into the Hunger Games for the honor to represent his district. He has trained for all his life for his moment and will stop at nothing to emerge victorious (murder at every turn) until he is ultimately betrayed by his compatriots and is rescued by a small pharmacist with a mean temper paired with a slightly timid personality.
An unlikely romance blossoms between the two in a place meant to tear them apart.

Summary
Practice comes to a screeching halt when TeeTee shows up to rehearsal with a fever. Unfortunately for the rest of DEXX, Por notices immediately.
What should have been a minor cold quickly turns into a full-scale emergency in Por's eyes, complete with cooling patches, temperature checks, and an abrupt departure from practice. Tee, meanwhile, is too feverish to stop himself from clinging to his partner in front of the entire group.
The members of DEXX are never getting their professional atmosphere back.

Teetee considered himself a Beta, or so he believed. Por, their neighbor, was a dominant Alpha. They had grown up together and had taken the second gender test side by side. Best friends since childhood, they had always been each other's protectors. By the age of 17, the doctors still couldn't ascertain Tee's second gender, as there were no signs, not even a hint that he might be a Beta. Yet, due to the absence of pheromones and lack of transition symptoms, Tee lived his life under the assumption that he was a Beta. However, the universe had other plans.
