“Hey Ruthye, are your ears pierced already-”
Kara freezes when she sees the girl spark-out on the couch, Krypto's head nestled up against her neck.
Her dog lifts an ear, peeking out from underneath drowsily, and Kara's heart squishes inside her chest a little, because he's there. He licks the girl's face once, lightly enough not to wake her, and then snuggles back in close.
“Good boy,” she whispers.
As she moves forward to dim the light, and sees the drying tear tracks on Ruthye's face.

"It was a whole burrito from Guisados, Chanse. Let’s keep the facts straight," Angela hissed, though the bravado was severely undercut by the way her teeth chattered as a fresh wave of throbbing pain shot up her radius. "And the backflip was conceptually sound. It was the execution that lacked… something."
or Angela took a dare from Arasha, got a broken wrist and met the love of her life.

"Two cheez-it packets and an apple is not dinner. You don't have any leftovers or anything in your house?"
Angela groans, leaning forward and balancing her forehead on the edge of her laptop screen. "I don't even have groceries right now, because I didn't have time to do a grocery run on Tuesday. I think the last time I looked in my fridge it was literally just condiments and a jar of martini olives." She pauses, and then, continuing to not look at Amanda, adds. "...And half a lemon."
"Half- why is it only half a lemon. What happened to- okay, you know what, not the important thing here. Babe, what the hell."
----Inspired by Angela having a single half lemon as her grocery in that one Shayne guesses video and then very much snowballed into its own thing.
Fluffy. VERY fluffy. and affectionate. Written as aaarguably/ambiguously platonic(?). But what is NOT ambiguous is that Amanda and Angela love each other a ton.
