Shane has a crazy fan.
He should be flattered.
But the fan always shows up to his games with a sheet on his head and a ridiculous accent, so Shane's not about to acknowledge him (he could very well be proper crazy).
It goes on for years and eventually the fan has a fan following.
But Shane hasn't acknowledged it yet.
He's forced to, however, when he opens a closet at Rozanov's place and finds sheets that look very familiar.

Summary
Afterwards Rocky reassured me that it is pretty common for pebbles to earn their first nicks and cracks at that age. Their outer shell isn’t fully developed yet and not quite as hard as that of an adult. He proudly showed me various indents and hairline fractures on his own body, telling me about how he got them in his youth during adventures with his friends or just messing around.
It’s a sign of growth, he told me. A sign of getting older and maturing.
Not a big deal. Happens all the time.
I believe him. Tori was in good spirits afterwards. Their crying was more because of the shock and the scare, not any actual pain. We finished the rest of the day without any further incidents and then I wished them all a happy holiday and returned to my home and got into bed.
Where I stayed for the next eighteen hours.

Summary
Ryland Grace gets called in to look at Astrophage and make first contact with an alien species. To bad he made first contact a while ago, it's just that nobody knew. Getting to work on Project Hail Mary might just be the second best thing to ever happen to him as it means Grace reunites with someone he thought lost. Maybe. There still a sun to save.
But at least now he has Rocky back.

A series in which Rocky is human shaped but still very alien, he and Grace are in a non platonic QPR, and the sun is still dying. It's basically a humanoid Rocky AU canon divergence to the book and movie!
