Summary
After that drunken night Macaque is left broken, and he desperately tries to put himself back together piece by piece. But an untimely deadly illness, a certain immortal monkey, and a cursed promise threaten to break down the walls he’s spent so many centuries building up. In the end…is that really a bad thing?
Macaque and Sun Wukong have to figure out what they both want from each other before it’s too late and they are torn apart by fate once again.

Wukong stayed silent for a few seconds, turning to take a questionable glance at the monkey sitting beside him before he quickly looked away. “That’s besides the point! Besides, its a beautiful evening! Can’t I admire nature for a second?” He gestured to the picture-like view sitting in front of them: the sky and all its beautiful hues, the trees slowly swaying in the breeze, the sound of monkeys chirping distantly.
Macaque let out a sly chuckle, turning his gaze to look in front of him. “Didn’t think you’d be one for skygazing.”
