Summary
Lucas is the CEO of an old-money company and a single father of twin girls, Luna and Lyra. For 23 years, he had treated Luna with kindness and affection, and everything he provided with love for Luna. However, he neglected his daughter, Lyra. Silence and a cold stare were the only things he ever gave her. Didn't matter how much she excelled at school, how high her rank was. He would never look at her with more than a dismissive glance. In their senior year of college, Luna embarked on a journey, a roadtrip with a means to relax before a stressful semester. Meanwhile, Lyra immediately dived into looking for an internship. With Luna's absence, Lucas was forced to face the daughter he had neglected. Offering an internship in the company, he promised her many benefits for her college courses. Lyra ended up having her office next to his, where he would keep an eye on her and oversee her work personally and directly. Lucas didn't expect that it would all change things between him and Lyra. What began as a professional assessment devolved into a predatory obsession for Lucas. During an office meeting, his critique of her work becomes a thinly veiled excuse to invade her personal space, culminating in physical intimacy.

It's soon discovered that the skull you'd found was possessed by a dream demon, and he's been giving you nightmares to fulfill his appatite. "You knew you were in your bedroom, and you knew it was the morning. The pressure on your chest increased when you looked into the burning blue orbs above your head. Just like the last two times you couldn’t move. It felt like you stared forever, until suddenly whatever was there was just gone, and you sat up in bed gasping. You clutched at your chest. 1am. The nightmares were waking you up earlier and earlier. But, for some reason, as you sat sweaty in bed, heart thumping, you didn’t feel the sheer dread or terror of the previous dreams. Sure, you were full of adrenaline. But a different feeling had you… embarrassed."
