Stark stilled as he eyed Peter.
"You really take after me, don't you." He said, tone half amused, half something disgustingly similar to prideful. "Causing scenes at parties now, kid? I’m almost impressed. What’s up?"
“What’s up?” Peter repeated faintly. He was starting to feel more than a little hysterical, his mind replaying Stark’s words, trying to figure out if this was really happening or if he was having the worst nightmare of his entire life.
He was so sick of this, he realized. So sick of the lying, of the characters he had to play to keep his secrets. Peter had always hated shit like this. You’d think, as a vigilante, he’d be more into secrets but being Spider-Man was like, the opposite of lying for Peter. He'd never felt more in character than as Spider-Man.
But hanging with Tony somehow always felt like a game, everything practiced and poised. He’d been avoiding the man for so long he’d almost forgotten.
“Tony.” Peter said. “You lied to me. You fucking raped that girl-How many others are there?” -

Summary
Over the last week, Percy had been competing with Jason over…well, everything. Annabeth thought it was stupid but Nico, the fucking instigator that he was, had suggested Jason was better at sports than Percy and started it all. Unfortunately, Jason was infuriatingly good at almost everything, and Percy only had a select few things he was really good at which meant the competition wasn’t at all in his favor, especially since Nico was choosing each competition. And also because Percy sucked at a lot of things.
”Maybe he’s a bad kisser?”
Leo shook their head, head cocked and brow scrunched as they painted their nails with deft steady strokes that Percy vaguely envied. ”Nah, he’s good at that too.”
"What?"
"What?"
Or, alternatively, how Leo began Percy's gay-crisis, which quickly snowballs into a much bigger crisis that Percy has no choice but to face. Is he going to suffer in silence or will his friends manage to pry it out of him and help? None of y'all know except me because that's how plot fucking works, so don't expect me to answer that. Also alternatively titled Percy Needs So Much Therapy and Can We Please Acknowledge He's Very Bisexual. -

There was only one Luz in Hexside and she was definitely on the list of top three people Amity didn’t want to be shoved in a closet with for seven minutes for some kind of ridiculous teenage ritual, especially not during some ridiculous party thrown by some boy Amity didn’t even know that she’d come to anyway because her friends wanted to be “popular.”
This was not how Amity had planned her evening going. It was a fucking Saturday and she’d mostly planned to study and binge shitty TV in her room and pretend no one else existed but instead she was here and after being bombarded with the abysmal party music and overly giggly drunk crowd for over an hour, she hadn’t thought it could get worse.

"The dress is red and sleeveless, black lacing along the skirt, sleek and smooth in a way Peter had seen on TV but never actually owned before now. It's beautiful, the skirt flowing as Peter absently twirled, watching it sway in his mirror.
See, Peter likes dresses. He knows it's one of those things that he's supposed to hate or whatever but they're gorgeous and something about them has always drawn him in. The compliments he gets are always uncomfortable enough to make him shy away but never enough to make him forget how he feels looking at himself in the mirror like this. This time though, despite the rush, he can't help feeling slightly detached as he watches himself in the mirror, practicing smiling as the girl the dress was meant for and not the boy who kind of hates himself for not hating it."It's self-explanatory, babes. He’s nine again– nine and new and knows so many things now so rather than try to go back–
He thinks he has the chance to make things right.
The bright blue trainers he puts on are a pair he hasn’t worn in forever, something he never thought about after he grew out of them (will grow out of?) a year from now, and sets off into the night and into the rain.
The plan he has in his brain is not really a plan, moreso just a couple of half thrown ideas and maybe five steps into building back the life he had in the most painless way he could.
Maybe, he thinks, maybe this plan can start off with the family he misses– because he’s sixty and most of them too injured or too old or too dead–
Call him selfish but he misses them. He would rather find them than get himself back into that lonely existence he called a life before he woke up at nine.
Dick makes do because that’s all he can do really.
