Summary
In some strange semblance of kindness, Professor Moody offers Neville the opportunity for informal, one-on-one lessons. Barty doesn't know what possessed him to do so--Merlin knows he wants to put the kid in St. Mungo's with his parents--but he finds Neville to be the unexpected boon to his plans.
It spirals faster than either of them could have expected. Neville is just grateful that someone recognizes him for his talents. -
