“You know Stoick's going to kill you.” Cami blurts out, Hiccup jolts turning around, the look of surprise shifting to determine makes her back down. She sighs walking over to Hiccup, bringing him into a tight hug, “Just don't get hurt, Brother.”
Everything she's done was to see him again, to be there when he needed her but right now she thinks Hiccup doesn't need it, –doesn't need her– he would be fine. He needed her to trust him, not doubt him every step of the way.
Hiccup nods and hugs her back, “You're not coming?” He asks
Cami laughs, stepping back and shaking her head, “I don't think Stoick will be too happy to see me right now, unlike you I'd rather not die today.”

Hiccup and Cami have two very different problems that have the same solution. Being stubborn.Astrid is just sick of everyone around her having no brain cells.
And Heather has been keeping something from Hiccup.

Everyone has problems.
Astrid's is Hiccup, Hiccup's is Viggo, Heather's Is Dagur and Cami's is whatever the fuck is following her.

“Hiccup trusted you.” Astrid starts, a scowl on her face, “But after Dagur you broke that trust.”
Ah.
Cami winced at the implications underneath Astrid's words, mad for a reason Cami was unsure of.
Well She did let Dagur out, that might be the problem Astrid seemed to have with her but her words felt more personal then that, deeper.
“I know.” Cami replied quietly.
She hurt Hiccup, broke his trust yet she held no uncertainty that Hiccup would forgive her too easily, without hesitation she'd bet.

After everything that happened yesterday Cami needs a distraction to keep her mind from wondering back to Dagur.Luckily Astrid has the solution to this and her own problem.

Yet somehow these four people end up becoming family despite past or future mistakes.

Cami just wants to hug Hiccup. Hiccup needs a hug. Dagur is confused and Heather doesn't like this girl.
This somehow ends up with them becoming siblings.

Tommy was a tired God who's sick of sleeping all the time. He goes down to the mortal world and discovers heroes, vigilantes, and villains. He gets dragged into it forcefully by his new friends - who also dragged him forcefully into their lives - and, honestly? He doesn't regret a thing. Being a vigilante is fun! Even if he has to hide the fact that he's a God from them. And then he has to hide the fact that he's a vigilante from the heroes who he now works for and have taken an interest in him. Should be easy, right? Well...
He should be able to do at least one of those things!
