Mira is fucking angry. The bridge is there, the connection is strong, and yet. And yet. The robot refuses to move. It's like the bones and the muscles wrapping around them are there, but the nervous system is missing. Which is stupid. It's a fucking robot. Mira is so fucking angry.
Zoey isn't enough. She knew this, but she hoped against hope it wasn't true. And she's not even sad about it. She knew it. She's holding Mira back, she cannot help the world, and it's all her god damn fault. Zoey never was enough.
"Girls. Steady." The calm, yet assertive voice of their commanding officer, Ryu Rumi, comes through the comms.
The bridge stabilizes. For just a second, the bridge is more stable than it's been since the original drift compatibility test between the two pilots.
The nervous system of the robot slipped in place, for just a moment. Somebody else shouldered the difference, for just a moment.

Summary
It was a stressful time in their lifes, with winning UMK and now preparing for Eurovision on top of producing an album and dealing with their own lifes. Aleksi could feel the pressure, from outside as well as coming from himself. For a long time now he had tried to deal with his problems on his own but had lost tremendously to the same self-destructive behaviour. There was no escape no matter what kind of effort he made and he wondered how long he could hide it from the rest of the band now that they were around each other constantly as colleagues as well as best friends. He couldn't decide on what would be worse: someone managing to take a look behind his mask or him going on as if nothing was wrong with until he couldn't anymore.
