Summary
War unexpectedly strikes Tjemehu—Yugi’s home. It lasts only two days, but the damage is severe. Yugi is one of only six survivors, all of which become prisoners of war.
Now an enslaved launderer at the Pharaoh’s palace, Yugi manages to keep going. He learns the language of those that have taken everything from him and he integrates well enough into his new life. But below the surface, his resentment only festers with time, and he grows bitter.
Two years pass without incident but Yugi’s life is once again thrown in disarray when the Pharaoh apparently kills his personal slave, only for Yugi to be ordered to take up the position next.

Summary
The future is bright. Atem, Prince and heir to the throne of Khemet, is about to be crowned as Pharaoh. Not only that, but his engagement to Yugi, a skilled mage studying under Mahad, has been made official and will be announced during Atem's coronation ceremony. However, unbeknownst to them, what should be the beginning of a joyous new chapter in their life will be threatened by an enemy that is set on avenging the tragedy that befell his village years ago.
An omegaverse take on how the outcome of Atem's confrontation against Bakura would have differed if Yugi had been part of that same era.

Summary
While running errands for his master, Yugi is collected to work in the palace among 199 other slaves, as per Pharaoh’s sudden decree.
Yugi gets to play a game of Senet with Pharaoh, the outcome of which will decide his future. However, Pharaoh takes a liking to Yugi and asks him to spend the night with him outside their previous agreement of the stakes of the game.
The consequences of their passionate night would change their lives forever.

He wanted to feel the wind on his face and sand beneath his feet while he walked hand in hand with his love, like in one of those old romcoms. But he was the son of Domino City’s biggest crime lord, and he knew he would never be free.
Atem had a grudge that dominated his life. Nothing could stop him from getting revenge for his parents' deaths. But his single minded focus began to change the night that Yuugi came into his life. He had never met someone so full of contradictions. So fragile Atem feared he would break him, but so strong he put Atem to shame. He lived wild and free while chained and caged and controlled.
Their time together was a blur of lust and emotion that threatened to destroy them both.
