Bucky twitched. He narrowed his gaze at the other man in warning. Zemo met the former assassin’s warning gaze with an easy smirk of his own.
“If you didn’t like it, even for a second, walk away from me.”
Bucky cursed internally. Well, Zemo knew just how to force the issue to the light. Bucky wasn’t sure if it was curiosity or sheer stubbornness that kept him rooted to the couch.
“See?” the Sokovian arched a brow, “Can’t lie to yourself, at least. Perhaps your therapist is doing her job to a degree.”
Bucky resisted the urge to snap at that. It would just give the bastard more fuel.-

“Open up.” Zemo holds the Turkish delight in his right hand and pushes it to Bucky’s lips, coating his lower lip with powdered sugar. Bucky rolls his eyes and leans in to take a bite.
But Zemo pulls the treat away, tutting.
“Ah-ah, I said open up.”

And in the sudden quiet Meyer’s looking back; and he can’t quite manage to hold Charlie’s gaze for more than a heartbeat at a time – his eyes are skittish and shy and the rest of him follows (nervous muscles in his throat and hands and jaw). But he’s looking back and he’s saying "you didn’t".
