Summary
The first time Ming Fan restrains his shizun during a qi deviation, sees him bleeding and helpless, Shen Qingqiu tries to send him away.
“This one’s honored mother would never forgive him if he allowed himself to abandon his shizun,” Ming Fan says quietly, his fists clenched. He has whip marks on his back and anxiety in his heart.
Shen Qingqiu turns around, fury in his eyes. “What do you think a whore’s kindness is worth?” he hisses. “Does the fool before me think she is worth anything? That he is?”
Ming Fan trembles. He is young, still; he will grow in time. He pulls out his only card, the only leverage he has found in this fight against his master’s pride. “If Shizun sends this one away,” he says, “then next time, it will be someone else who must help.”
He is sent to bed bleeding and cold, but he remains head disciple of Qing Jing Peak.

“Behave for us,” Yue Qingyuan instructed their shidi, “and perhaps I will let you fuck Qingqiu again.”

“It doesn’t have to be me,” Huang Qinggua coaxed, maintaining his distance. “Shixiong, you need to dual-cultivate. You have an hour, two at the most. Who do you want? If they’re in the sect, we’ll call for them.”
“And then what?” Shen Qingqiu managed. “You’ll tell them how best to fuck me?” His eyes were glittering.

Summary
In YT 1104, fifteen elves swear to bear children for the Valar in exchange for the protection of their race. Thus do the Maiar come into being.
By the end of the age, the stage is set: the Valar grow distant, Melkor has twisted the deal to his advantage, and Fëanor is overcome by its corrupted effects. Finwë swears he's fine, but Ingwë and Olwë are fading from exertion, and their kin on the other side of the Sea have their own problems to deal with.
Maiar are woven throughout the world, and Melkor's eventual defeat does not change the reality of the very first oath, made in return for protection at whatsoever cost.

Summary
Cang Qiong’s pack bonds are stronger than ever and Shen Qingqiu’s old injuries have finally healed. Unfortunately, life can never remain simple: their little kunze Liu Qingge is coming of age, and the rest of the pack keeps sniffing around him.
By this point, Shen Qingqiu’s tried-and-true distraction method for horny men is pregnancy, only it works too well: he winds up with Liu Qingge drooling after him and another fucking baby that he needs to care for.

Summary
Shen Qingqiu settles into his position as lead kunze of the Cang Qiong pack, and part of that means learning to share his heats with his sect-mates.
It goes well until it doesn't: complications from Ning Yingying's birth nearly a decade before make themselves known, and Shen Qingqiu can no longer take a knot in the throes of heat.
Mu Qingfang must figure out how to suppress Shen Qingqiu's heats and heal fractures and ligaments without taking away the scent- and instinct-based tools that Shen Qingqiu relies on to control his pack (and, implicitly, his life).

It was forced submission. It was cruel. And it wouldn’t work, because Yue Qingyuan was qianyuan, and only kunze had the right pressure-points at the neck.
