Marc snorts ungracefully, his eyes wet at the corners. Even though Valentino is not real, he doesn’t want to give him the satisfaction of crying, not when he’s caught up in his arms, unable to wriggle himself away.
“Yeah, of course. The real you – the real Valentino would have never come all this way just to…what, hold me and sing me to sleep? Come on. Be for real, tío.”
“I wasn’t thinking about singing you to sleep, honestly. I’m quite bad at it, you would laugh at me instead of sleeping.”
Marc humors the hallucination, sticking his tongue out and blowing something akin to a raspberry. It comes out warped, shallow, but he’s made the effort and that’s – quite a lot, considering that he has spent the past thirty-six hours wallowing in self pity, still and unmoving until all of his joints and muscles screamed and spasmed, forcing him to change positions.Marc believes he's tripping on his pain meds when Valentino shows up at his door, determined to help him with a particularly vicious fit of insomnia that has been keeping him awake for thirty-six hours straight.

Summary
The Kim family's debt to the Yoo family was insurmountable. The only way they could pay off the debt was to offer their only son as collateral, to act as a shield to the current Yoo family head to ward off suitors. With the understanding that the sole child could not have his dearest wish of a warm and happy future, he could only strive to have others take that place instead.
But in the end, happy endings do exist.

Yoo Joonghyuk has two problems. The first starts with K and ends with im Dokja.
The second is the dooming realization that he has terrible taste in men.
Or: in which Yoo Joonghyuk confuses sexual tension with anger issues while Kim Dokja's censored face annoys the life out of him, so he takes matters into his own hands, quite literally, to get rid of it (and it works).

Kim Dokja slaps his hands over Yoo Joonghyuk’s mouth without really thinking.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he says frantically.
He feels Yoo Joonghyuk’s lips curve into a frown under his palm, ticklish and hot against that sensitive skin. He ekes out an odd sound and jerks back, yelping again when the back of his head collides with the wall.
Yoo Joonghyuk’s expression turns more bewildered than reprimanding. “What is with you?”
The Fourth Wall comes down. Kim Dokja realizes he’s been relying on it more than he thought.
