Mai Honjou regrets many things: that time she had a pixie cut, the time she let Atsumu drive her car without a valid license, never growing past 5'4" – but betting her firstborn on getting Kiyoomi Sakusa to admit he doesn't hate her isn't one of those things. Technically, he's exactly the kind of asshole she should hate. A broody, antagonistic jerk. Getting him to break should be fun... right?
Kiyoomi Sakusa hates Mai Honjou: the way she wears mismatched socks like a badge, the fact that she unironically enjoys blue Gatorade, the way she always seems to show up at the worst possible times doing the worst possible thing he can imagine – and still, he can't stop thinking about her. Whatever she's done to him, it has to be some sort of a disease... right?
