Hero jolted awake, a strange feeling overtaking him. He wondered what time it was. He shifted, about to sit up, and it was then that he realized he was lying on the floor. He sat up, confused, and looked around.
It did not help. In fact, it made it worse. So, so much worse.
He was sitting on the floor of Basil’s living room. Aubrey was sleeping on the couch behind him. Kel and Sunny were asleep on either side of him.
What the hell?
Or, Hero gets stuck in a time loop, right before Basil and Sunny both end their own lives.

Zelda is the young princess of Hyrule, fed up with her dull diplomatic life, longing to explore the wilderness and research to her heart's content. She is overjoyed when her father sends her on a journey to recruit pilots for the recently unearthed divine beasts. The only downside is her silent escort.
Link is the wielder of the Sword that Seals the Darkness, however, he is also the son of the leader of the Yiga Clan, Master Sooga. His loyalties lie with his father as he infiltrates the royal family of Hyrule from the inside with the help of the respect the sword he carries comes with. His ways of thinking are challenged when he is faced with the job of becoming the princess’s own appointed knight. As his dad always said, ‘keep your friends close, but your enemies even closer.’
Together, they journey across Hyrule, learning new things about one another each day. This is a story of hunger and devotion. Of wandering looks and inner turmoil. Enjoy!

Even now, she was tempted to chalk the hand up to a panic-induced hallucination—but, no, now that she was out of the tree roots, heartbeat achy in her chest from gloom but still steady and calm, the marks on her wrists were clear. The hand, the same thing that had been pinning the mummy down, had grabbed her, hauled her up, up, up as she and Link fell, away from Link, away from her home, leaving her grasping at air as he fell below her and disappeared into a flash of green and gold. His gory fingers had brushed hers, so close but so far, almost but not enough, and then he was gone, and there had been nothing but the hand.She was alone. Completely and utterly, alone, high in the sky, with no way down.
Or, Link is missing, taken from Zelda after disappearing below Hyrule while face to face with a strange mummy, and Zelda will do anything to get him back. She just has to stop Hyrule from imploding while she does it.

He had hoped for a miracle at the end and though he waits and waits, one does not come. She is gone and he is left behind.
