Summary
“I mean, you— you say I’m perfect. That it’s, that everything we do together is… is perfect.”
“Yes, perfect,” Ilya says adamantly.
“Okay. But. I mean. I like feedback, you know. If there are things you haven’t said because you don’t want to hurt my feelings, you could say. If there’s any judgement of my technique, like, that you’ve been doing silently in your head.”
“I never judge you silently,” Ilya says. He pulls back a bit, twisting his neck so he can look Shane in the eye, frowning. “I judge you loudly. Is no fun if I don’t see your reaction.”
“Ha, ha.”
“Shane,” Ilya says. “Is this real worry you are having? I must know. You think I have… criticism of you, of sex with you? You think it is not perfect for me?”

Shane and Ilya navigate their sexual relationship, now that they're finally a couple.

Summary
A few months ago, Troy Barrett discovered he had a five-year-old half-sister, and now he's her legal guardian.
When her rare lung disease requires specialized care in Ottawa, Troy leaves the Toronto Guardians for the Ottawa Centaurs and uproots his life to be closer to her doctors.
As Troy settles into Ottawa, the strain of single-handedly caring for a seriously ill child begins to show. The more he tries to keep his personal life separate from hockey, the harder it becomes to hide the truth, and the closer he comes to losing control of both.

“So I say, before I’m thinking through, I say am getting married,” Geno says and glances up at Sid and then back down again. “They say to American?” Geno seems reluctant to continue. Sid’s stuck on trying to figure out who Geno is marrying and why he didn’t tell Sid about it. “I say, ‘no, to Canadian.'”
Sid makes a face. Because seriously, Sid feels like he would’ve heard if Geno was dating someone that seriously. But then again, he had no idea Geno had a kid until he was sitting in a hotel room in fucking Finland.
“Who?” Sid finally asks when Geno seems like he’s not going to continue.
Geno takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. “You.”
“Me what?” Sid asks stupidly.

Ilya is plummeting to his death when he closes his eyes, heart full of regret.

He can’t tell Ilya though. He can’t tell Ilya that his team might not be right for Shane. That this perfect solution is making Shane a worse hockey player, a bad teammate.
That maybe Shane Hollander of the Voyagers really was his full name. That Shane Hollander of the Centaurs might not exist.
He can’t say that. He can’t ruin everything. He can’t dim the shine in Ilya’s eyes, the bounce in his step, the color in his cheeks he didn’t have the last few years.
Ilya sacrificed hockey for their relationship for two years, played on a crappy team and watched Shane win. It’s Shane’s turn to sacrifice, to figure out how to make this work and let Ilya lead this time.
Or:
Transitions are hard for Shane. Joining his husband's team turns out not to be an exception to that rule.

Summary
Again, Ilya feels the shame flare in his belly. He imagines his father across the counter from them, watching this unfold. Watching Ilya be babied by his fucking boyfriend over an injury. He remembered how he’d yell at his mother for babying Ilya, the word soft being thrown around a lot.
But Ilya likes being babied. He likes watching Shane fuss and frown as he portions out the pills, filling a glass with Ilya’s favorite juice to wash them down with, then bustling up and back down the stairs with Ilya’s favorite pillow and the sleep mask he keeps in his travel bag for planes and hotels.
He is soft. Weak too, probably. His father’s voice spits through his thoughts, sharp and disgusted. Ilya feels them settle on his shoulders, tug at his spine.
“You okay?” Shane asks, hair messy from the shower, Ilya’s pillow against his chest.
His father’s voice fades.
“Yes, moya lyubov. I am okay.”
-
Or, a shoulder injury takes Ilya out for the season ten games into his second year with the Ottawa Centaurs. With one good arm and an empty house, Ilya battles with memories of his parents and his mental health. -

After many long moments, they broke the kiss, each gasping for breath. Ilya looked down at the weeping angel he held gently, boxed against his chest. Had he ever held someone this carefully before? The boy reached his hands up and caressed his face in awe, letting out a laugh, of sorts, as his eyes danced endlessly around Ilya’s face.
The English language left Ilya’s body completely.

Summary
This is a love letter to the all the millenials like me who played it too careful and forgot to enjoy our youth. Shane and Ilya, enjoy it for me, do good. Fuck it good, fuck it right. Life is too short to live it scared.
The arena is too loud.
That’s the first thing Shane notices; not the ice, not the lights, not the jersey on his shoulders that suddenly feels wrong in a way he can’t articulate. The sound hits him like pressure, like something physical, a wall of noise that vibrates in his chest.
He’s already bent over for the faceoff when it hits him- skates set, stick down, weight forward. His body is exactly where it’s supposed to be even if his brain is still skidding uselessly, trying to catch traction.
There’s only a split second before the puck drops.
It stretches.
He lifts his eyes.
Ilya.
Young. So fucking young. Is he dreaming? Not worn by years of hockey, travel, interviews and losses and victories that stack so high they blur together. He’s young again; sharp boned, bright eyed, unable to grow a beard to save his life. Bears black and gold instead of Centaurs red. 'If I look down am I going to be pantsless too?' He thought absently, no way this was real... right? -

Summary
He figures Ilya would be pretty surprised if he showed up to his house out of the blue. Surprised enough to be put off, probably. Shane is way too bad of a liar to think of any plausible excuse. If this is really happening, if Shane is actually by some miracle getting another shot at this, then he’s going to have to play this smart. His impatience to see Ilya again will have to be tempered. He’s not sure how time travel works, but he has the sneaking suspicion that one wrong move could unravel everything.
Ilya is alive.
Just the thought of it is enough to make Shane crack his first smile in a year.
--
AU in which Ilya dies in the Centaurs' plane crash. A year later, careless with grief, Shane drives his car into a blizzard and wakes up in Boston, in 2016. When faced with the opportunity to do it right this time, and keep Ilya for good, Shane knows that every decision he makes will be crucial. It's terrifying, but Ilya once told him that he's brave. Now it's up to Shane to prove it.

Summary
Shane Hollander has spent his entire life trying not to be noticed. In a city where magic runs the streets and monsters run the rest, that’s kept him alive.
When his guardian is murdered — alongside a vampire that shouldn’t have been there — Shane is pulled into an investigation that doesn’t add up. The deeper he digs, the worse it gets: missing evidence, fractured politics, and something powerful enough to tear through both the living and the undead.
Then the words begin to answer him.
Ancient. Primal. The language of power itself — one that predates the First Shift, one that shouldn’t be spoken at all. And yet, it recognizes him.
As Shane draws closer to the truth, he also draws attention — especially from the Beast Lord of Boston. Ilya Rozanov doesn’t break rules lightly. But for Shane, he might.
Shane has spent years staying out of sight. Now the city is watching, the magic is listening, and whatever he is becoming may be just as dangerous as the thing he’s hunting.

Summary
On a Thursday, a video of Canadian star hockey player Shane Hollander goes viral on the internet. The video was taken on the previous Sunday, and it’s not what anybody expects. It’s not a sex tape, or a drunken fight in a bar, or any of the other videos that have been captured of others in the league, but instead, it seems to be a sneakily filmed video of Hollander confronting his former teammates.

Summary
"Ilya," Shane gasps, because he's not dizzy from how hard he is by virtue of long experience of the effects that one Ilya Rozanov has on him, but it's close. "Ilya, wait, I haven't prepped—no, no-" His voice wavers.
Ilya smiles at him, mean like he's about to break him on the boards. "I didn't ask."
