Summary

probably one of the best fanfics I’ve read
it got lore and smut like damn double comboZhongli is basically roaming around because people don’t like gods anymore but they do want the archons gnosis because it can make them powerful. People basically want to assassinate Zhongli for his gnosis and he gets attacked everynow and then. Love how the author included Zhongli’s dragon lil dragon appearance
Childe follows Zhongli around after a lil fight off they had and they’re relationship grows from then on there. Zhongli is out-dated with social stuff LOLL. Tartaglia lore is fucking amazing. I really like how the abyss are basically vampires that is so fire. Childe becomes a literal bodyguard. Aether mentions👀. Oh and the sex scene is fucking hot like it’s not cringe like so many fics I’ve read💀💀with the “I-i-i-i u-uwu”💀The only thing i dislike is how they use the word COCK it’s just something I can’t laugh at.

Summary
Zhongli doesn’t notice anything amiss at first. There’s a certain new fullness to the stomach of his vessel, but then again, Childe has made sure he’s always well-fed, insisting on as many dinners out as he can manage while he is still in Liyue.
Childe notices it, too, joking lightheartedly about his retirement belly, patting the bulge gently as he wraps his hands around Zhongli in bed.
It’s only weeks later, when Zhongli is enjoying a lovely afternoon at the Third-Round Knockout, listening to Iron Tongue Tian’s tale with a pot of well-brewed tea that he realizes what is going on.
Or after the events at the Harbor Zhongli and Childe make up and make love. They end up making something else too.

At some point during their conversation Childe's hand has wandered across the table dangerously close to Zhongli's own. His thumb brushes hesitantly over the jewel on the backside of Zhongli's glove. "Do you believe in second chances?” Childe finally asks.
“I find that they are scarce,” Zhongli says, his words measured, “but when one does present itself such rare opportunities should not be easily overlooked.”
“Xiansheng-”
"If this is a second chance, I would very much like to take it," Zhongli says as he shifts his hand to interlace their fingers, feeling how a shiver runs through Childe upon the contact.

There is a war brewing in the horizon when Zhongli and Childe finally meet again.
