Will felt his cheeks warm up and giggled. He looked down at the yellow flower in his hands and back up at Mike, before raising his hand to intertwine the flower in Mike’s flyaway hair. “There.” Will smiled, satisfied. “You look pretty too.”
They stood, looking at each other, just smiling, the sun hitting Mike’s face in all the right places.
Mike’s eyebrows rode up his face after a moment, and his grin grew wider. “Will, we should get married!” He said, grabbing Will’s shoulder.
Will felt his eyes widen. “But isn’t that for people who are boyfriend-girlfriend?”
Mike shook his head. “It doesn’t have to be! But you’re- you’re not JUST my friend. You’re different from Lucas ‘n all the boys at school. You're special."

Lucas snorted at the phrase, and Mike glared at him.
Dustin shoved the packet into his bag before looking over to Will. “It’s a sex pill.”
“It’s a—” Will stammered, looking around wide eyed before glancing back at Dustin. “A sex pill? What the hell would we do with that?”
Lucas wiggled his eyebrows. “We have a competition. First one to tap out and jerk off first loses. Which will be all of you first, obviously.”
After the majority of their teenage years got interrupted by monsters from alternate dimensions, the Party starts to work their way through a bucket list of “normal” teenage things they never got the chance to do.
Taking sex pills to have a competition with your friends is totally something all teenage boys do, right?

Ancient sculptors would have killed to carve his body out of marble. Hell, Will even has the burning urge to learn how to sculpt himself. Painting Mike isn’t enough—canvas could burn. Mike needs to be cast in stone.
