Magnus looked up when Alec stopped in front of the rusty gate and quirked an eyebrow upon seeing him.
“Your Highness,” he muttered, deadpan.
“Don’t,” Alec sighed.
“Aren’t you afraid to tarnish your royal blood by coming to visit a pirate?” Magnus continued, his lips twitching with the beginning of a smirk, lacking the humor Alec had witnessed so many times before.
His mesmerizing eyes told a different story, though. They were defeated, tired and it only made Alec feel worse.
“I tried to explain it to them but they wouldn’t listen,” he murmured in a desperate attempt at defending himself.

Unwilling to show any form of weakness, Alastor continues to push himself after the extermination nearly ends him, pain and desperation cutting his fuse shorter than ever. The only one stupid enough to approach him at those times is conveniently the only one he can't fight, but oblivious as the King is, he doesn't catch wise until the Radio Demon nearly crumbles at his feet.

Alastor knew he was being watched. He didn’t know by what or who, but he could feel a presence observing him. It was obviously something not human, something that had the powers to take control over his dreams. What he couldn’t understand was why. Why was this… thing so dead set on helping him? And more importantly, what would it require in return?

“Hmmm, so, Al, I was thinking… It’s clear that for some reason you want me to divide from Vel and Val, and considering how everything is playing out, I’m willing to do that for you.” A claw ran down Alastor’s neck, but the radio demon kept himself perfectly still. “I just think that in return, I could use a—oh, how did you put it?—a teensy-weensy little condition, maybe two~!”
“Curiosity compels me to ask, what are those conditions?” Alastor asked, his tone carefully even as he raised an eyebrow.
“Just do me the favor of actually taking down that little protective barrier that doesn’t allow my cameras to work for the broadcast, and, at some point, I think a little lip-lock on stage would be absolutely perfect. After all, name something that could make that Princess feel worse?! Imagine the look on her fucking face! Her first little tenant was always a spy, her father told to get lost and then captured due to her own actions, and on top of that her first employee forced into such a position of pain for him—it would be utterly beautiful.”
Stay silent, Lucifer, Alastor demanded mentally.

"We should act like we're dating!" Lucifer blurts out, wincing as his ears register how unintentionally loud he was.
Alastor regards him silently for a moment and Lucifer does his best not to squirm under the scrutiny. He fails almost immediately. He feels his face start to heat up and rushes to explain himself.
"Think about it. It will drive Vox crazy! Us sitting a little too close together on the couch, stuff that the others won't even notice..." Lucifer trails off into an awkward laugh, because Alastor isn't saying anything. If fact, he doesn't even seem to be breathing.

Vox will be at the hotel for a week to get some "promotional material" and Lucifer wants the television demon to be as miserable as possible without Charlie realizing what he is doing. Luckily he has the best idea!- Language:

Or at least they weren't planned to be, but on each day after Merlin had a dream, scenes he programmed at work changed, resembling his dreams now. Instead of biting Merlin's head off, though, his creative director, Arthur, supported and encouraged him, even when Merlin's game scenes began to create a love story between the Once and Future King and his warlock.
