Those beautiful blue eyes, wider than the sky, deeper than the ocean, and brighter than the stars scattered throughout the galaxy, widened slightly in surprise when they met his gaze—and God, Tooru was reverting to his old habits of becoming a poet at the sight of Tobio’s eyes. They were the same eyes from his last memories of him, from three years ago, when they were still both in high school. Tobio's face had matured, its features becoming a little sharper. But overall, even from a distance, his face remained the same as the one Tooru had first seen in middle school. So juvenile. Pure. Innocent. Which was rather ironic, considering the boy mostly had a resting bitch face ninety percent of the time and a rude and annoying personality.
