Summary
Atsushi knows that they are nothing more than rivals teaming up only to prevent the most dire consequences. He knows that the blow will be risky, even for his regenerative abilities. He knows that Yosano is out of town. Still, in that moment no calculations are made beyond the fact that he can get there, he can shield and manage not to die but Akutagawa? Akutagawa couldn't.
Or the story of that one time Atsushi saved Akutagawa's life and woke up the next day in a place most definitely not his own shabby home. Also, it turns out Akutagawa knows his tea well.
