But sometimes, the pressure of being out, and the endless online speculation about #hollanov, and rumors running rampant through the NHL, and a new generation of rookies looking up to them, and the knowledge that everyone is relying on Shane Hollander to be perfect at all times—sometimes it's a lot.

Still embarrassing, to have his breakup with this beautiful actress filmed and disseminated on Reddit of all fucking places, but not a nail in his coffin, burying him alive. But the video didn’t end there.
“Can I ask if you’ve ever been with another guy?” she had to ask.
And he, tears visible in his eyes, had to nod.
Just once. Just a single nod.
Why did he have to nod?
“Have you ever told anyone that before?” He shook his head. “Was it different? With a guy?”
“Of course.”

It's kind of hilarious and tooth-rottingly sweet that the rookies are all so anxious over meeting Roz's girl. Or, wait, should it be his boy? Fuck, his Jane? Shit, Cliff doesn't fucking know. He probably should, though, but that's something to think about another day. He'll just stick with Roz's Jane for now—makes it easier for everyone, probably. Jane's been haunting Boston for for-fucking-ever, which, shit—he's definitely curious about how long their whole thing has been going on.
He glances over his shoulder, catching sight of Breezy's tense mouth, their nerves apparent as Los knocks his shoulder into Ovi's; all three are muttering together, clearly anxious for tonight to go well.
Still, how they're standing itches at him. There’s something… off about the rookies.
OR: Boston welcomes Montreal on their home turf. Movie night beckons in the aftermath. The rookies' questions aren't the only wheel of fortune that's turning.

Sasha outs Ilya through leaking a video of them from like, 15. (Now 2014, season after sochi) Gives pre warning. Ilya and Sveta quickly get to the Managment to have pre release. Boston players are generally okay but in that bro-y way. Kinda going along with it. Shane at first tries to stick up and be a little supportive (sochi) but I think something happened in the locker room bc Motreal is playing like shit and Shane broke it off with Ilya. As soon as he sends that text, Ilya deletes Jane's # and has now Married Sveta (gonna cry at that post wedding and the ring picking scene). Now we got baby gay Barret traded from Toronto and Ilya clocked him immediately lol
