“You know what I think ? I think you’re a great vampire hunter”, whispered Ricky, soothing low voice wrapping around his brain. “I think you never miss your target. And I think…”He lowered himself, closing in on Gyuvin's face and pressing the tip of the stake against his chest, almost teasing. Gyuvin could only watch as Ricky’s blonde strands fell down around his face, like curtains cutting them out from the world.
“… I think you missed me on purpose.”

“I’ve never had a contractor that couldn’t feed himself”, he said to the angel.
“It’s not that he can’t ! I just love doing it for him. When he eats my cooking first thing in the morning, it’s like he feels my love and care for him.”
Zhang Hao dry heaved above the sink. This was the most disgusting thing he had ever heard.

Zhang Hao took a step towards the cat to assert his dominance, but the creature got up, and the witch jumped back with another yell, clutching his chest. So much for his dignity.
“I had to find you,” the cat simply said, primly sitting down. “I am your familiar.”
