Unmistakably though, life. She was pregnant.
Her hand pressed harder against her stomach, she had been unconscious, unaware, absent from herself for years.
In all that time, she had surrendered her body to only one person. Only to Rio. Had someone else been here, had some mortal male had his wicked way while she was unable to fight against him?
She was sure though that Rio had been here. The memories were not clean or clear enough to trust, but they were there all the same.
Rio had found a way into the cage and now there was a child inside her.

Summary
Trinity is suffocating trying to balance her R2 year and raising a rowdy preteen boy. Huckleberry has begged her to just disclose her situation to her boss in hopes that she would give her a little grace regarding her slow charting, but she refuses, not wanting the stigma of being a young single mother to follow her into her workplace.
Unfortunately for Trinity, her son makes the decision for her by becoming friends with her new attending's kid.
