Summary
It was dark and bleak when Eddie's eyes shot open, blurry blobs filtered into sight as he let out a loud gasp. The gasp turns into a harsh cough as he sits up, the crunch of tires in the distance causing strong waves of pain to flow through him. With a loud groan, Eddie slowly stands up and looks around, blinking away the blurriness to take in the darkness of the upside down. The bodies of sleeping demobats scatter across the ground, vines climb up and around all over the trailer park, loud bombs of thunder crack every couple seconds, lighting up the sky a bright red. Sparing a glance down at where bites should be, he was greeted with pink scarred flesh. Letting out a confused hum, he scanned the area again. The only odd thing out that wasn’t from what he remembered of the upside down was the army tanks flying into Forest Hills to a halt. With a sharp breath, Eddie quickly turned to look for shelter, not knowing what the hell the army would be doing down there until a loud shriek was heard.

Summary
Gasping in horror, Steve stood up and asked, "What happened?"
Eddie rubbed his hand over his newly shaved head, making a brushing sound as he showed Steve a stapled wound on the left side of his head. "One of the inmates said I looked like a girl, so..." Eddie's voice trailed off, and he fought back tears.
Or..
Eddie turns himself in after escaping the upside down in order to get medical care. Steve turns out to be one of Eddie’s biggest supporter as trial looms closer.

Eddie had done a lot of running recently. He’d run when Chrissy died, when Jason and his gang was hunting him, when the cops gave his name to the town and started a witch hunt for the freak. He’d run from all of it, and more.
He’d run from the lab. He’d run from Papa.
He couldn’t run any longer.

Summary
Buck trained his eyes firmly on the wall as Maddie carefully picked up one of the tests.
Her gasp made Buck’s eyes flicker back to her, his heart leaping up into his throat and pounding violently.
“Is it, am I—” Buck rushed out before he got a good look at both of the tests she was holding up.
They both had plus signs, dark and unmistakable.
Maddie’s eyes were wet with fresh tears. “Oh, Buck,” She whispered, reverent and choked up. “You’re pregnant.”
“Holy shit,” Buck said, grabbing the tests from her to get an even better look at them himself. It was like he was in a dream. A really good one; the kind he’d forced himself to stop conjuring up after every endless breakup.
“Maddie,” He said, voice thick with his own bout of tears. “I’m gonna have a baby.”

Summary
Buck had never felt so alone as he laid in his car staring up at the roof, trying to get to sleep on its hard seats. This year had official been the worst year of his life. First he was blown up and had a fire truck land on his leg, then he had an embolism and was caught in a tsunami and now he’s dead broke, living in his car as he doesn’t want to tell anyone how bad things had gotten.

Or, Buck finds himself living in his car after lawsuit, too scared to go to anyone for help due to their broken relationship when an old friend offers him a job at his bar. Buck thinks his lucks beginning to turn but everyone else start to notice Buck burning himself out, will they be able to pull him out of the hole he’s got himself into it will Bucks insecurities hold him down.- Language:
