“Who are the marauders?”
“They’re teen royalty,” Evan says, glancing over at the field, and Remus follows his gaze to a trio of boys making their way out onto the field, wind artfully tousling their hair like they’re currently shooting a shampoo commercial. “If Hogsmeade was The Daily Prophet, they would always be on the cover.”
“That one there, that’s James Potter,” Barty says, pointing at the dark skinned boy with messy hair and gold rimmed glasses, his gym uniform appearing to be several sizes too small. “He is one of the dumbest guys you will ever meet. Evan sat next to him in English last year.”
“He asked me how to spell orange.”
“And that little one, that’s Peter Pettigrew,” Barty continues, pointing out the smaller blonde boy, a muggle cell phone pressed against his ear, so focused on his call that he doesn’t even notice the dodgeball before it bounces off the side of his head. “Peter Pettigrew knows everyone’s business. He knows everything about everyone.”
“And evil takes human form in Sirius Black,” Barty says darkly, an unpleasant expression crossing his face.

Summary
“So get married,” Sirius says calmly, his scent giving absolutely nothing away as he turns towards him and stretches his arm out along the top of the sofa, arching a brow when Remus just gapes at him.
“To fucking who?” he asks, giving him a baffled look as he throws his hands up in the air. “Am I supposed to track down the man who knocked me up, whose name and appearance I don’t know, and ask if he wants a husband? Take out an advertisement in the Prophet, perhaps?”
Sirius gives him a flat look, tonguing the inside of his cheek before he looks away, eyes focusing on the wall next to the fireplace. “You could marry me.”
When Remus finds himself pregnant after a one night stand he knows that he won't be able to keep his baby, no matter how much he wants them, due to the Ministry's draconian laws against werewolves. Luckily, his best friend has a solution...

Summary
In the wake of his father’s death Sirius Black finds himself living on the North Carolina coast in the beach-themed love shack that Orion shared with his mistress. His plan for the summer is to finish writing his novel, get the house ready so that he can list it for sale, and get back to New York before the leaves can even begin to change.
Too bad his former college nemesis and fellow author Remus Lupin lives right next door, just as surly and withdrawn as he remembers him being, throwing a wrench into all of his carefully laid out plans.

Summary
Remus chokes on another inhale, blinking harshly as he stares up at the man currently fiddling with all the little knobs on the DJ board-thing, wondering if maybe he’s had a bit too much to drink tonight.
He’s beyond gorgeous, pale skin that almost glows in the light and dark hair that’s hanging in twin braids over his shoulders, dressed in a sleeveless black shirt and what appears to be honest to God leather trousers, which would explain the way he’s practically dripping in sweat. There’s an androgynous sort of beauty to him, features simultaneously harsh and delicate, exaggerated by the rough stubble on his jawline and the glittery makeup that’s shimmering around his eyes, head nodding as nimble fingers twist knobs and flip switches and do surprisingly sexy DJ activities.
Remus doesn’t even know if that’s actually affecting the music or if it’s all for show, but either way, he finds the whole thing so attractive that he barely knows what to do with himself.

Summary
The thing is that Sirius has been a little bit in love with Remus since… forever.
Maybe not forever, but he knows that one day in secondary school he looked at his best friend, the one that made the inside of his chest feel like a bruised peach and thought, Oh. I think I’m in love with you. He didn’t really know what love meant yet, or the difference between platonic love and familial love or the love that his parents claimed to hold for each other and their sons, but he felt it all the same, turning his entire teenage world upside down.
It didn’t take very long for Sirius to realize, however, that Remus didn’t feel the same way about him in return.

The first time Sirius brought it up he’d discounted the entire thing as some sort of joke, but then he kept talking about it, and the longer it went on the less sure Remus felt about asking about it. At this point it’s been so long that he’s afraid that he’d sound like an arsehole who doesn’t support his boyfriend’s wants if he voiced his concerns, especially since he had already been an arse who didn’t want to come stay with the Potters at all this summer, but…

“Hey, are you Remus?” the figure asks, stepping forward to reveal a boy that can’t be a day older than fourteen, smiling brightly while fiddling with his wire-frame glasses.
Remus just blinks at him, flabbergasted, unable to wrap his mind around the fact that the person he’s spent the last week corresponding with after getting his number from a friend of a friend of a work acquaintance—the person that he’s here to purchase drugs from—seems to be an actual child. He opens his mouth, closing it when all that comes out is a sort of breathless squeak, which the child looks justifiably concerned at, because a grown adult who just squeaked agreed to meet him in what is possibly the shadiest location in the city, like some sort of pervert. He’s going to end up on To Catch a Predator, or whatever copycat version of the show is airing now, or even worse… a podcast.

“Hi, baby,” he murmurs, brushing a kiss to Sirius’ cheek, hooking his chin over his shoulder as he holds him tightly. “Bad day?”
“Like you wouldn’t believe,” Sirius grits out, squeezing his eyes closed, sighing when he nuzzles the side of his head. “I’m just glad to be home.”
Remus hums out his agreement, wondering what could have possibly gotten Sirius this riled up—though his family, his least favorite university professor who is always giving him shit, and his own occasionally cruel brain are all safe bets—but he won’t ask about it until Sirius has calmed down and is ready to talk. Instead he presses his lips to the little pair of antlers tattooed in the hollow behind his ear before asking, “What do you need right now?”
“I want out of my head,” Sirius says, words coming out on a breathy sigh, tipping his head until it gently knocks against his. “I don’t want to think anymore.”

Summary
Remus tries not to think too hard about the fact that Sirius has been staying in bed until noon lately.
He's always been one to wake early, rising with the sun and tackling the day with unbridled enthusiasm while Remus slept on, but now he can’t remember the last time that happened. Remus knows that they’re both getting older—in their sixties, which had seemed impossible when they were young and dumb and in the middle of their first war, but here they are—and logically he knew that one day Sirius would lose his still boyish nature. Remus hasn’t felt young since the late seventies, when his joints started popping every time he moved and he enjoyed an early bedtime over partying with his friends, but he couldn’t ever imagine that happening to Sirius, who has always been so full of life and vigor.
The thing is, if Remus is being honest with himself, he’s pretty sure that it can’t be chalked up to the fact that they’re aging.

It had been a fluke that he noticed the little banner on the packaging of his Vita-WOW chocolate flavored calcium supplement while doing the shopping—his preferred brand despite the fact that they’re considerably more expensive than the rest—and when he’d gotten home and found his reading glasses he’d squinted at the banner, feeling his eyebrows arch as he finally read the words: a contest to win a lifetime supply of the supplements.
He’d mulled it over for a few days before he decided to enter on a whim, thinking that surely there was no way that he would win, and had forgotten about it completely until months later when he’d gotten an email congratulating him on winning, at which point he’d realized he should have read the terms and conditions much more thoroughly...

Sirius glances over and does a double take, a grin pulling at the corners of his mouth as he watches them, nudging Lily to get her attention and subtly nodding in their direction, laughing when her eyes go wide and she immediately tugs her top down a little further.
The taller man is exactly her type, brawny and boisterous, and the smaller man who he’s gesticulating wildly at is interesting. Sirius lets his eyes slowly drag down the length his body, taking in his messy brown hair and flushed, freckled cheeks, the absolutely hideous paisley shirt that looks like it should have died in the seventies, and long skinny legs sheathed in brown corduroy trousers, thinking that he’d like to have them wrapped around his waist before the end of the night.
OR: Sirius gets blown. Literally.

“Sirius,” he whispers, eyes and lungs burning, feeling the irresistible pull that wants him to step forward.
“Remus, Remus, Remus,” the veil hisses, pulling him forward as his arms shake from the effort of trying to resist, the scent of motor oil and cigarette smoke washing over him. “Remus, Remus, Remus.”
He takes a deep breath as there’s a shout from nearby, sparks skittering across his skin, and lets himself fall forward. The mist passes over him with no sensation, it’s not cold or wet like he was expecting, Remus’ stomach flipping as he falls, filled with anticipation of the landing.
All at once everything turns black.

“Baby, it’s fine,” Sirius murmurs, reminding himself once again that he’s not allowed to say Remus’ name tonight, or even really speak at all, reaching out to gently wrap his fingers around his wrist before giving him a little tug. Remus huffs in exasperation but turns towards him anyway, putting one knee on the bed and swinging the other over his lap, draping his arms over Sirius’ shoulders as he settles his weight on his thighs. “I’ve seen your bedroom before, remember?”
“Through a screen,” Remus grumbles, gnawing on his lower lip as he glances around the room, a little divot forming between his brows when he finally meets his eye. “Are you sure you really want to do this? We don’t have to.”
“I really, really do,” he whispers.
