Somehow, it’s always captivating to see Jungkook do such mundane things. Like sipping on a drink. It’s like a crack in that other-wordly aura, something that makes him seem more—real.

In a world where humans and magical beings coexist, Jimin is a human lawyer specializing in magical contract law. Jungkook is a fae who makes a business out of tricking humans into signing intricate magical contracts—and even though fae can’t lie, he still manages to make Jimin’s life in court a living hell, each case a battle of loopholes and semantic traps.
Between Jungkook’s shameless flirting and his infuriating brilliance, it becomes harder and harder for Jimin to remain professional.

“Princess Ara, so kind of you to make the journey from your kingdom to visit us here,” the Princess says, smiling so bright it’s nearly blinding as she swishes forward in her large dress to gently take Ara’s hand, her ringlet curls bouncing with every step. “And who’s the handsome prince with you?”
“He’s a princess too,” Ara corrects and Jungkook feels his cheeks heat at the attention. “See the tiara?”
Jungkook smiles weakly at the Princess and glances over at the Prince, no longer bowing and at his full height, broad shoulders supporting tassel embellishments on his jacket and a large gold crown on his head. Jungkook’s face burns in embarrassment even though he knows this guy’s not the real deal; he’s convincing, and has an air of authority about him that makes Jungkook feel small and oddly overwhelmed.
That feeling compounds because the Prince is also unbelievably handsome and Jungkook thinks Ara was right; he’s definitely the most beautiful person Jungkook’s ever seen.

Then, you have the punchline.
The setup of this story is this: Man writes a routine out of anger against an injustice and goes viral.

Namjoon snorts, his eyes crinkling with an amused smile. “Thanks for taking Seokjin-hyung on your road trip,” he says, glancing sideways at Hoseok as though reading from a teleprompter. “I’m sure you two will have a great time. Hyung likes you.”
Yoongi laughs without meaning to, loud and derisive.
Not for the first time, he regrets he had no witnesses on that first night he and Seokjin met years ago.
Because he doesn’t like Seokjin and all of their friends know it, but Seokjin certainly doesn’t like him either. He’s just far better than Yoongi at hiding it. Or just more of a hypocrite.(Or: Yoongi gets emotionally blackmailed into taking the guy he hates the most on his road trip to his best friends’ wedding and ends up sharing snacks, playlists, beds, and, maybe, his entire heart.)
