‘Mikey stops taking his pills the day after Gerard takes all of his at once.
It’s a beginning of sorts.’Out in the zones, there’s very little holding Gerard together – Mikey is trying his best, but something’s been praying on Gerard’s mind for years and even he isn’t sure what it is, apart from the nightmarish flashes of dark eyes watching him.
They’re doing almost alright until the roadhouse run by the semi-legendary ex-Zonerunner Jet Star is hit by a BL/ind patrol and Gerard and Mikey finally decide to let someone else run with their crew in order to help track down the kidnapped motorbaby Grace.
However, it isn’t until they make a shocking discovery during an attack by the sinister masked Draculoids that they can even begin to find what they’re each looking for…

Summary
Frank begins to settle into his new home properly. He still struggles with some aspects, but he's learning, and Gerard decides to invite a friend over to play with him, too. He works through inner turmoil that's worse than his external suffering, trying to come to terms with everything happening to him. And in the end, he accepts his new place in the world, and sees that, really, this is what he's always been.

“You could at least try to act concerned that you got the shit kicked out of you,” Ray sighs as he opens up the kit, pulling out packets of gauze, tape, and antiseptic wipes. Frank merely hums in response, the alcohol and adrenaline still thrumming through him enough to keep him from formulating a real thought. He drops one of his legs off the side of the bench as he lolls his head to watch Ray move, eyes dragging across his body. Ray rolls his eyes and shifts closer, awkwardly settling between Frank’s open legs. He opens one of the wipes and grabs hold of Frank’s jaw to tilt his head to the side.
Or, Ray Toro discovers he may have a bit of a sadistic streak when it comes to his band mate and best friend, Frank Iero.
